Hi all - new to the forum but not to fishing...
I'm heading the the Barrier this Christmas and taking the 12 footer with lil' Mariner on the back and staying around Medlands Beach. Can anyone tell me some good launching spots around the island, and possibly any experience launching at Medland??
I picked up a nice 22 kg Kingie at Fletcher Bay last year and I'd like to do that again this year at GBI, so any advice much appreciated

| I have done a few beach launches with various inflatables over the years on the east coast of barrier, best advice is to take care with the swell conditions , thankfully there are usually corners of the beach protected by headlands that will offer some protection depending on the swell size and direction,if its dodgy then head over to the west. |
