< ="utf-8">Hi everyone,
Just a short report to say that I went out on friday with Cam on a short 4h charter. He wanted to catch something big so I told him that we should try to catch a marlin. He though that 4h could be a bit short for that but as soon as we arrived to the FAD, we were hooked up to a nice small blue marlin on 50lb stand-up after a 45 min fight we got the fish, took a picture and released it. It was his first ever game/ sport fish.

Nice work but way better for the fish to survive if you take photos of it in the water, probably dead now

well done mate great 1st marlin capture, its nice to get the pics etc and from what I have seen it appears common practise to lift fish out of the water over those ways, when you get another chance try and photograph in the water, great for the fish and some nice back ground water shots, plus as you tell the story to your mates, when there is nothing to compare the size to a 200lb fish can become at least 300+
