I don't reckon he was wrong just something that he had not yet discovered, back in the early 1900's they didn't have particle accelerators to play with

In 1905 Einstein clearly didnt factor in a few billion dollars of partical accelerator as you say Catchalot, 186,282 miles an hour that would make for a hell of a speeding ticket....

I too have tried to confirm this but I keep on blinking just as I was about to push the stopwatch so I cant get it accurate enough
I enjoy this type of thing although I understand very little of it, the maths involved and what it means to look into the night sky and realise that the light you viewing may well have been emitted by a sun that died thousands (and even hundreds of thousands)of years ago

Makes it easy for people to understand, you can then use that very basic understanding to confuse people who know heaps while engaged in general chit chat at what ever social function you happen to be at when you run into them.
