Managed to get hold of  Carpenter BLC84/22R Power I from Japan which I  matched to a Stella 10000 and spooled with Varivas SMP PE6 90Lb about 220meters fits on the reel. Perfect rod for NZ Topwater targeting NZ kings!!
Check out You tube to see this rod in action on Extreme when the Carpenter Crew came to test these rods with Ginga at the beginning of this year.

Hanging to head home for Christmas and New Years to break it in at Mayor Island with Ginga and White Island with LionelSmile Bring it on!!
Also cant't wait till Ginga gets in his Carpenter BLC 83/40R Power Max order , and he has a very limited amount of BLC84/22 R power rods for sale so flick him a PM if you like what you see....Big smileBig smileBig smile

Nice outfit that one and as Stella suggests a pimped up handle is the only way to go on a 10000

Try out a Smith Baby Runboh on that rod, if you haven't already. You won't BELIEVE how far that will fly!
