Hi all check out this link to see some of the crazy action we have had recently.
This was from a day out with the David from Ocean Blue adventures and Malcolm Crane.
David got some good shots of some strikes and is pretty easy to see why we are all so excited about this type of fishing.

Rods were a mix, the obne i remember the most was the Carpenter monster hunter, i think i remeber this because i am anxiously waiting for my own one to turn up.
Lures were a mixture of Fisherman, falcon, carpenter and the big orion did some damage. The orion was cool to watch being white it was easy to follow in the water and watch get smashed.

Hi guys,

Filming the action was a good excuse to take a rest from fishing at times and just watch all the excitement. Embarrassed  Editing it all up was good fun, and a first of this type of thing for me.
I saw more big kingfish in 1 day fishing in NZ than I have seen in Aus over the last 2 years. Jealous... Yep, very much.....

Malcolm had bought all the top Japanese stickbaits over to try and they got their fair share of love. The big Orion was a standout though.

Tauranga's a great spot also and I hope to get back over again, maybe over summer.

Cheers David
