Soon or towards the end of the year im looking to buy a kayak
i will be doing all sorts of fishing and am looking for a good stable yak
rod holders comfort and all the usual. To start i would not want any electronics but
later on  i would like to kit it out properly. I would like to buy new but am afraid they may be out of my price range whats a good price for a first yak. Can anyone give me some advice on what would be the best brand/model.
I am based in wellington and dont know where to look, should i start on trade me any
dealers in welly.
any info would be greatly appreciated.
p.s if anyone has a yak for sale let me know.
Cheers, Tane  <(((><

Hi Tane,

There's a few of us in Welly (check out the Wellington Yakkers section).  Flick Paddyak a PM to see if he wants to sell you his Swing.  A few of us have them and they're great and can be kitted out with a fish finder etc.  They're very stable too.  Paddyak has 2 of em so he might flog you one.  Good luck.

Dom.

Guy selling a Prowler 13 in the Buy/Sell section on here. Sounds like a good price. I think they're an excellent all round yak. Cheers
