How many males v's females, age spread and NI/SI/overseas?

Would be interesting to know.

BTW, someone mentioned in the changes topic that things seemed to be running slowly, especially on dial up. I reckon its running slower than it has been even on our brand new extra fast turbo charged aftercooled machines. Is it me or have others found the same? Don't you love people who change subject mid thread....

Alright, FL, I'm thinking hard. It wasn't through the MSFC Club newsletter 'cos I did it the other way round - I got onto MSFC through you. I think it was your other suggestion, a mention on Pakula's Marlin Bar which, by the way, was where I used to waste hours of my time before I discovered I can do it here.

Haven't been to the Marlin Bar for months and only slightly less rarely go to Marlinnut. Reason for this, now I think of it, has nothing to do with fishing. It is more fun (remember that?) messing about with people you know than reading screeds of erudite stuff from the Bart Millers, Pater Pakulas etc of this world. The level of actual 'factual knowledge' is thicker on the ground on the other gamefishing sites - but where's the Squid having a go at the Pig, or Billy having a go at anything and everything that moves?

Well I was fishing on the Manukau one day and this gurnard spoke to me.

It said "Smudge, go to fishing.net.nz".

So I did & to show my appreciation, I ate the fish.

OK I made all that up. I searched it out after joining an aussie forum and though it would be cool if there was a local site like that. Well there was, but it was pretty quiet til Kerren popped up.
