^ I don't think I want to know about whatever that means.

I got some silicone ear plugs at someone's recommendation though (and some Sudafed - snooping in the very, very shallow water might be my lot for the weekend). Free WatchTower magazines?

Stay off the rums Matt, last time I noticed none of those other ****ers was picking you up off the ground each time you fell of your chair except me.

Don't trust them.

Actually I stopped too when you started challenging everyone to a fight Clap I think you thought you were being pushed off your chair but all but a small handfull of the times it was just the swell. LOL

That was some funny **** that was.

^ So getting up reaaal early to secure a tender isn't strictly required?

Posted By: long john
Date Posted: 18 Mar 2010 at 8:00pm
Oh no, it is. You've just got to be able to push on. Generally we just have a stiff whiskey for brekkie and soldier through. Honestly, UJ, if you can't stand the heat....

What would Herb do LJ? (now you are his new best friend)

Posted By: Unclejake
Date Posted: 18 Mar 2010 at 11:14pm
Herb would have a stiff whiskey and a sugar bag of raw kina with some snapper livers for breakfast at 45 knots ................... wouldn't he?

I guess that is why his lads can hold their breath so long

/ I have never met him so have no idea

Few issues there, DD? Evil Smile
For the record, my 'gripe' is not with Herb or any of the other Mercury Gays, who as competitors are going to do all they can within the rules to win. I will too. My problem is that they appear to get preferential treatment from organisers on account of who they are. That's not their fault and it doesn't mean I hate everyone.
So, come over here and I'll give you a hug while slowly rocking you and whispering in a comforting manner "There, there...there, there" and you just let it all out. I care about you too, DD.  We can be new best freinds, if that's what you want?LOL

Hah! It took a while! They only get preferential treatment because of their proven reputation! I can see I will have to do a RQ trip with you to give you some much needed counselling. In the meantime, I have to get ready for Great Barrier - sharpen up the three prong for the drummer, marblefish, butterfish and red moki

I hear there are four jehovah's witnesses on board. a bottle of rum to the man that makes them abandon ship. They can't just be pushed in, it must be a serious bid to escape.

I'm sure they'd be more comfortable getting on the piss with you than besty as well. Unlucky for them I guess

jimmy its a shame you are too precious for a couple of rums and a laugh.

Besty, you know you are going to post a photo of those two wee snapper so hurry up and do it Smile

Regarding the JWs - they were sweet. Nice people and enthusiastic about going diving. Sadly the youngest one hurt himself on the return back to Auckland. Broken arm I guess. Tough little bugger just sat there with it snapped for a couple of hours

For the record: UJ dived heaps and shot virtually nothing. Pretty much normal. I did get tingling legs on the surface after one longish dive this morning though. BO warning? Dunno but I did start surfacing a bit sooner after that

A super nice bloke named Will and the smallest (by far) of the snapper he shot. Telly Savallis approves.

I just realised that I didn't see a single mussel at GBI

And LJ - you probably already know but incase you didn't there were good scallops at the spot you were enticing crays out of a hole using a spare bit of octopus. Thanks to you and MJL for showing us around
