Looking to get my Johnson V4 90 fully serviced as just brought it and want to at least get this done so can start from fresh. Hoping someone can recommend somewhere. Would prefer something over the habour bridge ie north.

I'm sure you'll get the heads up on someone closer but if not I've got the same motor (1999 vintage) and have been very happy with the service I've received from Kev and Ian's in Manurewa. They seem to know thier stuff and I've found them to be straight up to deal with.

They recommended that we get the gaskets done a few years ago and a bit of the block needed a small repair due to corrosion which apparently is a bit of an achillies heel on these so may pay to ask the question.

I've found it to perhaps be a bit thirsty but it literally picks the 530 Stabi, 4 guys and full fuel and throws it onto the plane - lotsa torque!

Likewise - give Alex a call at Shore Marine. I am pretty sure that he knows Johnsons pretty well, and he is a good guy to deal with.
