Sorry my camera is only average so here goes with a few pics of todays weigh in...oh and sorry I got there too late to see and photo the first fish so there is only pics and details of the last 5 Stripeys, not 6 in total.

Striped Marlin 109.2kg, on 24kg tackle, Angler Trevor Osbaldiston, Vessel Miss magic, Capt Russell Dyer

Note the tail chewed by what we reckon to be small Mako nippers?

I could not get close enough to get a good shot, but otherwise;
Striped marlin 95.6kg, on 37kg tackle, Angler Quinton Baddley, Vessel Maverick, Capt Shane Weatherup.
Striped Marlin 87kg, Tackle 24kg, Angler Kim Bines, Vessel Collective Soul, Capt John Bines.

The smokey is going to be busy tonight, and the tires haven't exploded yetLOL

Striped Marlin 81.4kg, tackle 37kg, Angler Paul Copeslake, Vessel Westcoaster, Capt Jon Wallace.

Go the small boatsClapClap

Here we go the big girl of the day...

Striped Marlin 140.8kg, Tackle 37kg, Angler Rick Nelson, Vessel Lady Shanler, Capt Gill Lawrie.

Bloody big Stripee and a very happy crew.

These are my mates that have come up from Rotorua and Auckland and one from Whangarei.
The boat is a 7m red Bluefin called "Serenity" and they are learning their ways so if any Fneters bump into these guys please help them as they have never fished the Toots but have done the Tauranga One Base a few times, and got their first Stripey to Snow at 88kg.

These are the Hamblyn Bros and Snow- Wayne Morrison.

From the right Tony (ex- Airforce and now AirNZ Pilot) Brent or Bams (ex- Navy Warrant Officer Marine Engineer, my best friend and daughters God Father) Snow (ex- Navy Chief Marine Engineer) and finally Kerry Hamblyn, well he is gay cos he is a Pet Food Salesman and strokes poofta cats for a living... best we not mention too much about himLOL
