The Sailfish is one of the most popular hunts in the Costa Rica fishing expedition. These fish have made their way to the wondrous waters of Costa Rica and into the dreams of every angler around the world. The time of year does not matter when looking to hook a sailfish they are there yearlong. The tournaments however are held mainly in February, but can be expected anywhere from December to March. In the Costa Rica waters a fisherman can expect to hook anywhere from 15-20 sailfish per good fishing day!
