All the rods I suggested above, are over $600
IMO You have brought a quality reel , you would be better to wait and save till you have enough $$$ for a quality rod to match it with.

Have you look at the jig star range.....price is below $600....the 350 g will be a good match I reckon..... |

I agree SJ I sold a Jigstar 350 to a fishing mate the other day and he bolted his trini 40n to it and even I had to agree the reel suited the rod well. Jig Star 350 sounds exactly what you need for under $500. These rods are the best bang for bucks around. ------------- give it death! |

Jig Star 350
Daiwa Monster Mesh
Personally, I will wait for somebody to sell a used JM PS 350 or Terminator 400. Check out the Offshore rods..
