Yes Jo.......alas

Envy,

Gulf harbour is just north of Auckland and if you come out of the entrance and head NE for an hour you'll hit the Barrier, beyond that and North and East is open sea..........if that's what you mean.

The Three Kings and 40 odd miles beyond North Cape..........you'll probably need some charts mate

Why would it be my dream to have a house up there, its my dads dream, and he wants to fish three kings, coz he reads that "Bill Hall" (i think) book, so he thinks its a fishing mecca or somthing like that

Good on you rono, nice to here someone else tagged one this weekend. We went 1 out of 4 this weekend tagging a 110kg fish, but most boats seemed to prefer to but them on the back of their boats which is pissing me off a little.

CRE87V.. look at http://www.hydro.linz.govt.nz/charts">www.hydro.linz.govt.nz/charts and you will find charts of the Kings and North Cape.

CRE87V, that boat you're talking about wasn't a Woody was it? Had a yellowish hull and was a really low to the water wide boat... retro and ultra cool looking?

Nothing Bushy, kepting one a season is fine, but one boat kept a 60kg one and then kept a second for the day. On Sunday out of 6 or 7 fish caught between both the BOI and Whangaroa clubs I think only ours and one other was tagged. We have to kept up the 50% tag rate and shouldnt leave it up to the boats fishing the kings.

Try it without the "/charts" then select charts and use your brain

CRE87V,

No it was this one, the 48, I think they have only actually built the one boat at this stage. Tuna tower instead of flybridge. Heavily game fishing orientated layout, not for your average cruiser!
