FYI, PM me if you would like more info/rules registration details etc....I know it may coincide with other comps, but this is a great social event that gets stronger every yearThumbs%20Up











MARCH 19TH – 21ST 2009

2009 Marsden Cove Classic, Game Fishing Event

Prizes will be given for the Angler of the Cove, Most Marlin Tagged, First Marlin of the Tournament and the Heaviest Tuna as well as some great spot prizes.


Program of events:

Thursday 19th March   -   4.30pm registration at Waterline Café and Brasserie a debrief at 6.00pm

Friday 20th March        -   7.00am SHOTGUN start at Canal entrance

-         Weigh station open from 4.30pm – 7.30pm at Marsden Cove


Saturday 21st March    -   4.00pm stop fishing

-         Weigh station open 2.30pm – 6.30pm

-         7.30 Prize giving dinner at Waterline Cafe
                  
This promises to be a great weekend so please register your boat and book your crew.  There is no entry fee required as this is an invitation only event, however to cover the Prize giving dinner there will be a fee of $30 a head.

btw....they will berth everyone at the Marsden Cove Marina free of charge during the comp Clap

i am unaware of there being a weighstation there or if the scales are certified can you please confirm these details please.
