HI,

My delightful other half takes people for a walk out to the bungy jump site under the Harbour bridge everyday and today she reckons she saw a huge kingfish cruising around just as they started to walk onto the bridge.  She did describe it as having a yellow tail and being a big long silver body.  I thought it might be a shark but she was pretty sure in her description.

She reckons that she told some of the boys fishing of the wall about it and they all went nuts and started changing there lures and pissing their pants!!

Casting across the marina entrance again huh!! You know that if you cut the corner a bit when leaving the marina you can sometimes get 5 or 6 'hook ups' at the same time Evil%20Smile

i saw a massive kingie the other day in less than a metre of water in the bay next to meola reef. It was in there chasing flounder i think. hooking a kingie in less than a metre of water would be quite fun!!

You're probably right about the flounder fatjimmy. Some years back, when we were kids, a mate of mine landed a huge kingie from the shore in less than 1.5m of water on a whole flounder.

Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish caught will we realise we can't eat money.

She was back under the bridge today and the guys who work on there reckon that there's usually a few big kingies cruising around each day.  I assume that they must be pretty onto it fish and thats why there so big.  Over 1.5 metres she reckoned.
