Right all, pulled apart a second hand 225LD, cleaned it up and put it back together, now the drag is ****e.  Feels like it is binding and releasing.  Also the same feeling when winding in, it binds then releases.  Do the drag washer have to go back in the same position?

Fixed it, when reassembling the drag washer got bound on the edge of the driving hex, thereby making the drag come on and off all the time cause one side was sitting high (on the hex).  Very much a trap for younger players
