A BIG thankyou Damo, although it started out slow for the dedicated SP fishos it sure made up for it when it all came on song. An 11lb snap is a PB for me and now I've got a taste of those fish over 10lb I can't wait to chase some more. Just spent another $100 on some more Gulps for the 27th. How many more sleeps is that? (1,2,3,4,5,6.............too many )

You can't help but enjoy a day with double D's, that's Damo and Diversity of course. Made some new friends and hooked up with some regulars as well, fantastic! The cost doesn't really factor into it, don't tell Damo but an experience like that is priceless.
Mrs Clayton's young fella does all the hard work, finds the fish, tells the jokes and even posts the report! How good is that!
Lethal, the flounders owe me a touch under $10 each by the time the Hogy team had posted them to me, as we all know freight is the killer. They specialise in "big" baits, some real interesting stuff at http://www.hogylures.net - www.hogylures.net they even threw the cap in the package at no cost to me. Took eight days to get them, credit card was handled without a problem. Check them out. I'm looking forward to getting out over the Manakau bar and dragging the flounders over the sand west side.
Next Diversity Challenge 27th of August and I'm looking at dates in September already
Cheers Captain Damo, see you soon,

You ever find 'couta type worms in frosties?
We found one on Omaha the other day, took it home and did an autopsy (I'm a nerd). The guts were chocka full of those coiled up worms, and the flesh had a LOT of some kind of worm up to 100mm long and 2mm wide.
The thing was riddled with parasites.

I reckon......we were talking today saying it would be real good to have one week day a month put aside to go out with Damo, weekends are a bit hit and miss, start the new job tomorrow, the manager there is a mate of mine who is a hunter and gatherer from way back, so will be open to suggestions to accomadate some time off for such a good cause.....Mrs Fozzy said to say hello and thanks for the company, she loved the day out on Diversity, which I am glad about considering she was the only female present...

Well done guys & guyess. Looks like the shizzle for fun right there, dont worry fozz my missus has been out heaps by herself with the chaps, being around me with some rough navy types for 20 sumtink odd years has hardend her up a bit, so they get use to it, but most fnet fishers would be a great bunch to go out with & just like to have fun. Good to see the softies doing well, little flounders aye hmm. I look forward to the 27th too team, but have to get out earlier so hope the west coast accepts us next sat aye Ian, oh by the way heres what I got on friday arvo in the rangi channel using blue mackeral bait in the shallows WOOHOO . I never take a camera out, cause the mac is to small & it may get wet you can see the 30cm marks on my chilly bin.
