Pretty massive easterlies all day tomorrow up 45-50 knots by lunch (doesnt matter which way the winds going when its that strong!)

Sunday sees things swing around to the south but still pretty stong and then southwest and dying off to a more manageable 15-20knots in the arvo.

It's hard to predict such bombs, but weather or not the surf will be pumping. Try bouyweather.com, by far the best updates. 2 days outlook or I think or the seven day outlooks are more than worth the subscription.

that spot wasn't written about in a nzfn a year or 2 ago was it?  biggest storm for 10 years they reckon.
