Hey All

After clearing the frost from the windows yesterday morning it was off to pick up Dave (aka Torpedo), Tim and Kit (from Oz) at the wharf, for the first session out wide for a while.   Dave's sparkling new Ocea Jigger was carefully stowed ready to be blooded on a nice king.

What a way to christen it....first fish of many more to come on it, a 22kg aldie fattie and a PB

The fish put up an epic fight as it was foul hooked in behind its pectoral fin which gave it twice the power, but no match for Torpedo and his new weapon. Jig was Pink Katch1 spear.

A couple of drifts before Kit from Oz (previous PB was a 6kg fish in Sydney harbour) knocked over a 23kg king on a Zest purple curved slider, he'll still have a smile on his face when he walks through customs in Oz...

and Tim was hooked up first each and every drop.

With Albatross, a few coutta showing up, and a 15 knot southerly it was def. winter styles and after hitting a solid bite they shyed off a wee bit, so it was time to have a clean up and a bit of a softbait back in close, with Kit nailing a nice 4kg snap on a Lime Tiger.

Well done fellas, some nice kings!

Sweet
Carl
