Hey guys was down at go fish yesterday when scotty from daiwa popped in and had some daiwa monster mesh rods that looked pretty good, they had a PE8 rated overhead rod that was only abit bigger then my softbait rod but it had some power just wondering if any of you had used these? - Cheers

Scotty could sell sand to the arab's, lol
The monster mesh seem's like a sweet rod for popping but i dont think they make a short enough one for jigging, get Scotty to show you one of Daiwa's saltiga jig rod's they seem sweet.

I spotted the monster mash at Boatcity and the only thing that put me of it was in bold writing it stated that Max drag was 11kg. Im not shore if thats the same rod but i guess if you get a big boy on it just point the rod at the water and dont fight with a high stick, you dont kno till ya try one .They look the part.

There is a few lad's i know off in Aus that are useing them for casting poppers for GT's,they seem to like them very much.
Have loaded them up in the shop with a Dogfight attached, they have some grunt.

Yes i was thinking of getting one for casting big slug os and suct for kingis and also for abit of live baiting and a lil trolling if nothing at all

But they do look mighty nice - was thinking overhead but then again might be easyier going spin and putting a fin nor offshore on it but i think if i can find a nice overhead that can cast ok might go overhead - decisions decisions
