you absolute HO! Wink

I think your true expenditure on TAS has been somewhat disguised as a business expense...move over Boulder there is a new kid in town...this man has it sooooooooo BAD he had to create a living in the industry just to fuel his addiction....repeat after me "I'm a tackle ho!"....will be easier in the long run Damo!!!

its all about therapy...and i dont feel anywhere near as poorly as i did ..although the wallet is emptyLOL

just back from the spooling machine...oh and a few hot knots with CodWink cheers mate

one small problem...turns out the reel clamp machine screws that go into the reel are only pressed in into the lock nut - trun the screw too tight on the reel clamp and you press the stud outAngry...only bronze tooErmm

may make up my own setLamp

I agree with of2fsh. You don't need a reel clamp and it apparently causes distortion of the unfavourable kind to the jigging style reel seats that can result in breakage.

Furthermore the Tinidad reel clamp is too bulky and will probably get in the road when you jig with that very nice combo.

Saw some of Kojak's rods recently and they are impressive. Thumbs%20Up

Might be a dumb question BUT....would yo also keep the clamps off on a T curve 400 they only have the plastic seat and tread?

Probably wetdream; they just get in the road anyway. Make sure the lock ring is done up snug and you should have no trouble.

Wise opinion is that the use of reel clamps on the graphite/plastic reels seats like the Fuji, will distort the reelseat and crack the glue bond holding it onto the blank.  It is more comfortable jigging without it.

and the blanks are parabolic so the are designed to bend all the way through...a reel clamp may alter the rod action ....?
