I use a blood knot or uni knot,leave long tag ends to finish with a series of half hitches

Usually tie back-to-back uniknot and a drop of superglue if I can.  I should be saying to buy a replacement spool eh!Thumbs%20Up

and you can tie it anywhere, as jimi can atest -
