managed to get out to day Tuesday the 18th......

the order was placed by the misses 4 or 5 pannies for raw fish.....
the firm she works for is closing down so as a last good will gesture she said it was her shout, she will bring the raw fish for the Boys for the last time.....

hence im out fishing couldnt get anyone at a moments dail up so head out by myself......

i thought it would be easy.......

well you know what happens when you have to fill the order...... they dont play the game.......

5 hrs of trying with bait in all my hot spots and still not even an undersize fish....

to hell with this i havent been home empty handed in years, well in my boat that is......

time for a jig on the J.D.s bed as a last resort.....

tied on the only one i had left of the triangle Zest jigs.....

first cast forward of the boat i get a birds nest and the jig plows on into the distance, oh dear this isnt looking good, i hunted around and finely found something i could use, yeah must have come off the Ark as it wasnt looking to good, with a quick spit and polish it sort of looked like a jig again, it was a old chrome 60s which somehow survived , well at least i had something i could have a go with, Dam that birds nest......

after 5 drifts over the J.D. beds i managed 6 of the buggers should of had a heap more, but at least i now had tea and the order filled......

dont know what happened out there today even Tiny and Crew had it hard on S/Ps with just a couple of Trevs and a few pannies.... Nor West winds maybe and small tides with the moon over head.....

the misses ask what that amount of J.D.s was worth so quick look up on the net im still not sure if this is right as i only looked at one,
it was export by Seafoods it went like this $114-95 for 10lb of whole fish
will fillet for free but you pay for the whole fish.....
the 6 J.D.s weighed in at 18lb and at my reckoning thats about $11-50 a lb
which adds up to $207 for those 6 whole fish.....
will put the pic,s up later ive got to go cook tea for when she gets home....

here you go.....

well there you go Wefaknis.....
bout time you got some of these jigs mate and do some bottom bouncing...

im still learning, its like you never stop, today was very interesting.....

these J.D.s would only take the jig when it was being bounced towards the boat, by that i mean when cast forward the jig reaches the bottom so now you have to wind line in after each bounce to stay in touch then once it has gone past the boat and heads out the back they wouldnt touch it, which is strange, ive always had good successes with it straight up and down and as you work it out the back.... but this is a first were they only hit out the front, that only gives you something like 3 to 5 lifts and its over rover...... but if you got one to have ago at eating it then they normaly ended up hooked.....
man they are nice to eat done in bread crumbs.....

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

But it would seem a shame to displace all that lecherousness and depravity you keep in there already.

I'm liking this jigging forum, it was a good call.

It's inspired me to go out and buy some of Mr Wong's amazing blingbling jigs, and some nice little 80/100gm blue foxes that were on sale at Just Fishing.

Danged if a couple of those triangle babies might not leap into my pocket when I pick up my newly spooled reels from the Tazmeister this arvo. Torque 300 Check. 37kg braid check. Blingbling jig check. 50lb kingy.......

Got to be good for you.
