Where is the best place to get fish bait and burley in Wellington? I live in the Hutt so around there would be good, but have lived in Auckland so driving 1 hour to pick up bait is not really an issue. I mainly fish landbased and surfcasting. |

| Yes, definitely Pete Lambs. The baits there are fresh and reasonably priced, and you can occasionally get special baits like baby salmon, sanmar, etc. |

OK, cool I thought that might be the case. My brother used to work for both of them a few years back so know the H&F guys quite well, have met Pete a couple of times, but was a man of few words. |

Pete has southern bait in the house. all the normals plus bulk deals, shellfish burley, piper, shellfish, prawn, good quality stuff. Some is distributed in the hutt I think, give them a call. |
