Thumbs%20Up Out west on Saturday was a bit lumpy for a start, glassed off lunch timeish and we scored a nice feed of pannies (14) plenty of gurnard (20) big sea run kahawai ( kept 10 ) and a trev, quite a mixed bag, along with a whopping eel and sh*t loads of toothy critters, something was happening all day, just needed plenty of bait.

Big%20smile By the look of the threads from out east we had the best of it.

Approve And a feed of scollies on Friday evening.

 Cheers

yumbo!!! and better than what the East appears to be doing.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

Wink After our recent strike rate, why would one go anywhere else, last 4 trips (since July 1) have been an average of 8 snaps per angler, plus all the other bits and pieces.

Ermm Some days it fires staight away and others you just have to sit it out, it will always fire sooner or later, one memorable  day we had charter boats all over us like a rash, they all got impatient and moved on, not ten minuates after they tootled off they came on the bite and we had 20 snaps in an hour. Saturday was a sit it out day.

 Cheers

I agree feeder! West Coast produces Sunday dinner once again.

Terihiki terrors and small baits doing the damage.

Dont quote me on this but did I hear that there was a shellfish toxin and a ban had been put on the gathering of paua, pipis, mussels, cockles and scallops from Kawhia Harbour south down as far as Wanganui.

Hope you fellas have avoided a nasty vist or visit's to the dunny. lol
