Anyone got any idea how this fishes? Any reports from the last few months. Worth going to if you are desparate?

Good for the kids but the current is unreal off there and fun from the little sharks adds to the day as well

Not sure what it fishes like at this time of year, during the summer you can catch  gurnard and the odd snapper off there, if your lucky like Beno a fairly large snapper too. Inbetween times big stingrays and sharks provide some fun. Like has been said the current rips through there making it a bit more difficult to fish properly and it gets packed out which can be frustrating, there are place further up the coast like mosquito bay which may be better. I'm sure someone else will fill you in on those.

Deacs is on to it.

Kahawai and gurny's from Shelly this time of year redfinger. The odd snapper during summer. Would recommend fishing over the high and perhaps dawn/dusk but really any time during the day. Havent got much at night from there, only the odd gurnard.        Oh the shop there has new owners and they put on a good feed of fish n chips and you can get a beer or an rtd there too so worth a trip up if nothing else to do.

Moz Bay is good. Fish the low from the beach. Bit of a drive if you dont live out west or out that way though. Give me a yell if you want to know more...

Yeah the boys are right...you can get good gurnard and the odd snapper but only in between hooking the sharks... if you get there early morning not many people are there and it can be quite nice. Best on incoming 2-3 hours before high and the same on out going but as soon as it turns it really pulls out!!! Need 6oz sand grabbers!!

If its busy...stray line whole pilles off the wharf and you get good KYs!!

Like Boza said good beer and fish n chips at the shop there!!
