To put it briefly I must just MUST nominate The beagle and his sidekick Naki for going to a specialist SP weekend then skulking off to the shop at the motel to buy a pkt of squid bait

THATS disturbing

Truly Phats its time for a joint award (no not that kind Swannie)

Yeah Boulder, I have to agree.

Bad, bad form , IMHO

Now, on a lighter note, here's how to deal to an overrun of fireline on an overhead reel, a-la-Barrie.

Grab a knife, sit down & start hacking--true!

I couldn't bear to watch, it was so bluudy brutal.

Hang on, hang on, hang on...

How about these gems:

1. Boulder unable to make a fishing.net fishing day (Saturday last) supposedly due to work pressure but with his actions Thursday night casting a shadow of doubt among some....

2. Barrie standing on a Kiwi-kraft that had been parked in his driveway all night, launched by him and after six hours fishing on it he says... "But this isn't a pontoon though... is it?"

3. Only scheduled fishing day of the weekend was Saturday, so the SP flavour was well and truly over when we bought a modicum of squid on Sunday.

4. The rally driver complete with boat taking the goat track Sunday morning.

5. The winner of the SP competition that admits using a livebait on the day of the competition (nice kingi though Waves).

6. The "powers that be" of the weekend deciding that Waves's transgression didn't matter (but now apparently use of bait after the official SP fishing day is worthy of a monthly Trophy?).

Come on you JAFAs, surely you don't think you'll get away with this!

I'm pleased to note nothing I did, or said was put up for scrutiny.

When I got home, Aunty asked how was it.

I was able to look her in the eye & say I didn't do nothin' that was wrong.

She looked back at me with the other one & said "yep, Uncle, you're just purfect, purfect in every way".

Barrie, you may well have been right if the glass had been half full.

Sadly, mine was half empty & that puts a different slant on things

4. The rally driver complete with boat taking the goat track Sunday morning.

I vote for him. What a stupid ****!

1. Waves for using a livie to catch his kingi. A serious breach indeed. But consideration must be taken into account due to waves being a Jafa.

2. "Calcuttas' never bird nest Barrie"

3. Uncle for spoiling good beer.

Sunday was not an offical SP day, therefore Beagle and myself withdraw our nomination.

Well, put the award in the mail then , not planning a trip to Latteland this year except to fly to Raro. Next year either really.

I can vouch for that. Boulder is stickier than a stick insect eating a sticky bun.

Well, that's it then, you can't have TWO recipients of the toilet seat award. Give it to waves I reckon

Oh, and Bushie, how far does $8.75 go at the New Brew mate (just counted the PIGGY bank).

OH yes he can Beagle as the toilet seat was not awarded inApril there is a spare "awarding" he could use.

BTW whatever gave you the idea that Phats toilet seat was the one you might get There are others you know especially designed for official F.net events It remains to be seen if PDS as the sole and unbribable judge deems your muppetry worthy. You wont have long to wait as my brother from another Muther is usually very precise with his snap judgements
