behind every man theres a good horse ... i think thats how the saying goes!so cumon lads showus ya workhorses...heres my 150 stallions ,they never miss a beat,power to burn,response at ya fingertips,quiet as a mouse but open them up and they roar like a pack of lions.
fitted with a permatrim and 17 degree 19 " stainless saltwater series II prop

Christ BA thats some beast you got there! Ski, thats a nice motor...I have a Yamaha 100hp 4 stroke. Quiet, smooth and very fuel efficient. Had guys at the ramp say "is that motor on?". I reply "YEP" and stuns them a bit aye! |

What a strange request... Here she is � 60hp 4stroke.  Rusky, I've had the same question asked many times and sometimes have to check the tell tale myself. She sips on the gas.

Mines a 115 Yamaha. Size doesnt matter, it's how ya use it. Well that's my story anyway, I'm always satisfied. About those anti cavitation plates. Mine has those plasticy ones and frankly when I get the boat right up on the plane at about 40 knots (I think it's knots and not stats) there's nearly nothing but the prop in the water and it gets a speed wobble. I think it's the plates flexing, it's not a great feeling. Must take em off one day and try it -------------

good stuff lads,keep em coming.great things these digital cameras tho like every thing think i need a nu one!look after ya horse and he'll look after you...saftey first in this fishin and a good reliable motor should always get ya home again..those 60 yammy fourstrokes are a really smooth,economical motor.mate used to get from omaha round little barrier and back on less than a tote tank. ------------- yamaha reliability senator stability shimano superiority the rest is up to the fish! |
