Ohhh of course. I didn't look at the pics properly. I have a .303 from 19i7 a Series 3. Only deer I have shot using iron sights. Only one I have shot at to be fair.

Ah  that would be a No1 mk3  WinkSmile . I have only ever shot 2 deer ...both with a shotgun . We were spotlighting hares , rabbits and possums   from a quad , guy who's farm it was gave me a hand full of slugs "just in case "  .Crazy night  , him driving with a helmet on holding spotlight , open knapsack full of shells on his back  and me riding pillion with a 870 (he has a helmet so I didnt hit him on the head to hard with the barrel whilst changing sides ) and this doe jumped out from nowhere and he is running it down while Im dumping the #4's and shoving the slugs in ....nailed it  and no sooner had I reloaded with the #4's again and another one sprang out of some Manuka.  We shot more than 100 critters that night .

As there are some boat ramp pics this is one I remember fondly although I arsed up on it on one occasion.

I don't remember that, but recently my ute slid down while I was loading the  boat on the trailer. Only that rock at the bottom saved the ute, and I took an urgent swim to get out from under the trailer. Could have ended very badly. Only picked up the repaired ute a few days ago.

did you know that a decent sized fallow spiker fills three Lion Brown boxes full of meat? That was when they had 440ml cans. Fills 5 x 330ml boxes.
