Does anybody have an Okuma VS40 or VS40a reel they no longer use or want, even if it no longer works that is ok. I have 3 of them with a number of spare spools for different ultralight line weights and can no longer get parts for them. ------------- http://www.legasea.co.nz" rel="nofollow">

Hi Doug, thanks for that, interesting thread, I have had no real problems with my VS40's, but the 40a which is still in really good condition has given me problems with the anti-reverse playing up on big fish. Had Swordfish Steve look at it and he couldn't sort the problem, as no parts available anymore. The VS40's are just getting tired, might look and see if I can get new bearings for them, that might tighten them up a bit. ------------- http://www.legasea.co.nz" rel="nofollow">
