I took my Sage rod into F&H in Queenstown, as I had broken the distance ( smallest) segment.
They told me they needed the whole rod, and it would take six months?
Is this for real?

Hey mate,

You are better off dealing with SAGE directly.

Get on their website or better yet shoot them an e-mail and enquire directly.
Usually a form you fill in with CC info.

From past repairs I have had done, they don't need the whole rod, just the section, rod model etc,

With regards to 6 months, I can't answer for certain - they did have a backlog but that was from Covid and they should have sorted that out by now.

At any rate, hope you get rod sorted.
Nothing worse than a premium rod sitting idle.
