It maybe the law but this is over the top. Well I'm sure the wowsers will say the law is the law. I don't know if the kids had fishing licences. I would have though a warning would be appropriate. Way worse crimes than this around fishing happen everyday everywhere. Sometimes officers need to exercise discretion.
EDIT: Oops it says right there in big letter that the kids did have licences  ------------- Best gurnard fisherman in my street |

The "laws" have never worked anywhere in the world . There are always innocent who get tangled in the wider web of uncertainty and red tape ....Common sense should prevail. If not ???? |
