Seeing Groundeds post reminded me....

Where I fish at night, pacific islanders catch yellowtail mackeral for food. They deep fry them, I tried some the other night, not too bad, bit of a novelty for the kids.

Just make a diagonal cut through the fish from immediately behind the head to the anal fin so that the entire gut cavity is removed, nice and clean and no mess.

Then you just wash, dry and deep fry them until the skin goes crispy. Works with other small fish as well. You can then eat them bones and all!

sounds good Smudge bet Pakati and sprats will go down quiet well like to....

is that how you cook those carrot thing as well they arn't that much bigger anyway are they ................................................
