Started today with bait fishing at the farms for the first time in a while, not a big fan of bait but the guys I was out with were looking for a feed. Well the old smelly bait only messed up my boat and produced small undersized fish.
So we shot out to the 30 metre mark off the bottom of waiheke and got into them on the sand with Sliders. Some good sign on the sounder which produced a good feed, mixing up the batter now.

Always pays to take the full arsenal on board, good result switching from one to another. One of the good things about lures is minimal effort to change over, did you change rods.
