Anyone fished Mussel Rocks (Te Kaha Point) about 2km on the northen side of the entrance?

I have a yak and dont mind the walk, just wondering if its worth the journey.
Looks like there are a few rocks that jut out a tad, would need to target tides + swell ect.

Cheers,
Zac

A long while ago, burly was key and un waited big baits that could run through the channels. Patience to leave your bait where it washes to was when the bites happened.  Big fish can be had at times but always a feed
