Well, not me actually, but maybe you? I am looking for my first boat and, whilst I have read a bit and received some good advice from this forum, the range and options are bewildering. Some magazines do boat tests, but even their used boat tests tend to be on those costing megabux and not the sort of thing that new boaties cut their teeth on, such as Sea Nymph, FiGlass, Fyran, Bonito, Sea Craft, etc etc etc. So I was wondering if there was a place on this site for members to wax lyrical about their pride and joy (or even their boat ), a sort of a personal warts and all expose of small boat ownership?

Just a thought, but I for one would find it invaluable, I am sure.

I think the first thing you have to do is decide where your going to fish...then how much comfort do you require (is your wife fishing with you) then the sort of $$ you have to spend.

The new post should be great

if you like i or Kerren could smack up some photo's of the boys Boats and just give you an idea on how others have set their pride and joys up and the sort of costs involved, i say this because we have all sorts in the forum its just a matter of getting the time to call on the guys, we could end up with some interesting stuff..........

Cheers Lethal

Yes, that would be really useful. A picture speaks a thousand words. Just need to make sure that each photo is not more than 200k in file size so it would load faster. Comments by other forum members on how to better set up the boat in teh photo would be well received I'm sure.
