Hi, I found a fishing  Kontiki/ torpedo today whilst walking the dog.
Do you know anyone who has lost one recently?
Obviously I will leave the details of where & what type out of this message but if you think you know someone who has lost one or you have, email me at [email protected]

Have you had a good look inside it? If there are owner details they're usually written on the inside so they don't rub/wash off.

Time for some belated lame humour.

If you launched a kontiki in Kaiaua and it had a decent battery, it might have gone round North Cape and washed up on a west coast beach?

You can tell I'm bored.  I misread the rules on Level 3 fishing.  Seems I could have fished from Tamaki Drive this morning.

We have to have name phone on  long line buoys and other stuff. Is it the same for kon tkis?  basically a long line with one end not fixed.. some std long lines are like this also

Also many things have a serial number. Thats recorded when supplied to retailers and then often kept as future reference ...
