I have a feeling that she may have picked up the new 14000. Do you think the 6.2:1 gear ratio is too high for jigging? Replies: Posted By: OuttaHere Date Posted: 05 Dec 2020 at 12:25am My 2c, yeah, bit fast. Over 130cm/turn will make it hard (but not impossible) to get a good rhythm going. Faster reels easier to match with a longer rod which will move the jig further, but the CD is very much on the shorter end of the range.
