You may have seen my post in the FS section looking for an Offshore rod, but with no luck there Im looking at alternatives. Have seen the older model Daiwa Saltiga X 802S-8/10 Popper Spin Rod 8ft PE10 2pc, but wondering exactly how heavy it is? Anyone have one? Predominantly chucking 120-150gm stickbaits from a boat so not sure if its a bit too 'heavy'. Guessing the 792S 4/5 model down is probably too light for PE8. I have also seen the demon bloods, people seem to love them, but have heard they are quite stiff? I definitely prefer a more parabolic rod action. Anyone care to comment on how they perform? Guessing the DB82XH PE8 would be the best suited to what i do. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Duncan. Very happy with it!
