Good morning, I am considering taking out a 3 year subscription to the Seloc on-line manual for the Mercury 90HP 2 stroke 3 cylinder model 90ELPTO. Is there anyone using this service and how have they found it?

Dont know how subs are or what the manuals cover , or if factory AIMs , install serve repair or what.
On the other hand current factory manuals are very expensive and difficult to get your hands on unless a agent.

The Factory manuals, including my GM chev AIMs, AC /Delco etc I have scored more accidentally than intended.

Thanks for your input Steps. The 3 year sub is USD46. It gives access to maintenance and repair procedures and is meant to be in more detail than the  "factory manual" of the same model engine. Factory manuals are often written for trained technicians where as Seloc produce service manuals for the DIY boat owner who services and maintains their own boat motor. Well, that is what I have read on the Seloc website, just wanted to get feed back from any NZ based subscribers. Seloc produce both printed service manuals and web based manuals. The web based manuals would be my preference and they also provide part numbers and USD retail prices for the respective parts which give some guidance a to what the cost of parts is likely to be.

"factory manual" of the same model engine. Factory manuals are often written for trained technicians where as Seloc produce service manuals for the DIY boat owner who services and maintains their own boat motor. Well, that is what I have read on the Seloc website,

The factory OMC manuals are very well written step by step for both, and illustrated.

What is very important are the update bulletins .. which unless a agent, dont get. Wonder if the Seloc include???

Big difference in offshore prices and local prices of genuine parts thru agents.
