Hey Guys, heading back home to Auckland for a week and was keen to try some slide baiting using Kahawai or yellowtail as live bait to try catch a kingy. Ive never done it just watched a couple vids on youtube and it looks mean.

I have a shimano baitrunner 12000d.

What size line and leader should i use and/or are there any pre made sliding bait rigs i can buy?

Try Hi-ika fishing shop, chaps name is Clem
He looked to have had some quality slide rigs
