Seems relationships are endangered!

Dam, I must of missed those episodes Skoti...you got a link for us😁.

Back to topic though, there have been some tensions and niggles evident for a whilešŸ˜•. But we will see how it goes as the season progresses and try not to make assumptions.

I have to admit it does appear that they have fallen out and don't want to be on screen together.  But it may just be that it isn't possible for them to get together as much as they would need to for filming.  They live a long way apart, and doesn't Milan have a young family now?  Maybe it's the last season as the logistics of filming just don't work.  All TV shows tend to run their course over time anyway and nothing lasts forever, but I've certainly enjoyed the show over the years.  So, thanks for the show Milan and Nathan.

From Facebook's NZFC feed:

"The boys are mates of mine.
They are fine, still like brothers. They sold the show last year and just finishing the season out. They set out to make 1 season Nd ended up doing how ever many. And now they felt like a change. As they wernt feeling the e
njoyment as much anymore. Families getting bigger so wanting to spend some quality time with their young kids and partners who also have busy jobs. Nathan has given up body building so slowly dropped his weight. He says hes feeling great with carrying around less body mass. Both have their eyes set on the futures. Nathan is spending abit more time working in Savoy now so if you book that boat you can catch up with him there.

Hope that kind of clears things up lol. Rather then each week hearing rumors lol"

They have had a good run....like all people on ALL shows...(bands marriages business enterprises, foot ball teams , everything)
And yeah I have seen fishing m8s move on for many reasons also.
People move on do new stuff
Doesnt it always mean a dust up?
media would like it to be that way, just look at the headlines that sell womans mags..
Now we need to go down that route of BS or fishing ppl

So when ppl move on, what is important? what they are moving to or the underground , headline creating , usually BS reason?

After the initial shock of the 1st few eposides, (different) have totally enjoyed their show.. up top with a couple others.
Enjoyed several of their seminars and couple chats over the yrs...good guys.
As Kevin said above
So, thanks for the show Milan and Nathan.

All the best for the future guys.

The funny thing is that, as someone pointed out, Nathan's usually actually in the boat filming Milan, or vice versa. In one episode Nathan poked his head around the lens and pulled a face.

So I did find it a bit silly that Milan kept saying "I wish Nathan was here" or "I'd feel better way out here if I wasn't solo" or similar in the recent offshore Tauranga episode, when someone else (possibly Nathan) was there filming it. it's not like he had the camera on a pole doing selfies!

But either way, I have enjoyed the show over the years. The skuting was really interesting, and I envied all the kingie action in the harbour shallows.

I can understand why they felt a bit like they were repeating stuff after a few years, because they really had two main targets (snapper and kingies) and two or three main methods (free swimming livies, skutes or big baits), and fished the same general areas each season.
At least they did what they love, and realised when it was time to move on.

It'll be interesting to see if new people emerge on mainly social channels or streamed with one of the newer providers.

So it looks like the end of this friendship was greatly exaggerated.

I was among those who had their say when the show was ending amid various rumours, so I'm very pleased to see them back - with a 12 minute episode on a YouTube-only channel 'Lateral Line'.

Keeping it simple, back with Daiwa, and obviously still very much great mates.

It'll be interesting to see what their Marco boat is like.

Milian looked a bit uninterested with the camera in the first place, didn’t say much while having breakfast and then ripped off ahead around the rocks by himself. But he did warm up later in the show after he caught the kingfish.

Hope they can keep it together

They did this from the very first Coro comp they set up till now.

Looking slightly to the left (WSW) is Goat Island (Motuoruhi Is), Straight ahead you are looking straight across at the eastern end of Waiheke,Hooks Bay area,  looking to the right (NW) Double Island (Motuwi Is)

edit: sorry that is the opening shots, all just north of Coromandel Habour

Yeah I didnt watch too closely but assumed it was somewhere just down from Papa Aroha given all the islands.

Had a look at their YT channel last night.
The camera work is rather dismal, to say the least.

Let’s hope that improves..

It's all on iPhone, but Nathan said that right up front (first upload), so...

Maybe they'll upgrade to GoPro or similar.

But at least we don't have the silly pretense in the final TV series of Milan out on a boat saying he's all by himself when there's obviously a camera guy moving around on board as well.

Yeah, one or two episodes when being ā€œaloneā€, you could see the big fella holding the camera in Milan’s reflective glasses.

Not looking to kick them when they are down as I enjoyed watching their antics on TV.
Not quite a well thought out plan to start a YT channel using an iPhone.

Have been away. Sorry my bad. Just took it for granted we all know the Coro. Has been figured out any way.
Walk to the South end of beach at Papa-Aroha look across the bay. Presto there is the ledge. Drops off to 20M not far out. Can be a very productive area at times, holds some very good fish. Clean bottom out from rocks with the exception of a couple bits of foul out around 40m /60. You know when you have found it as it becomes buggar / ****e as you hook into them whilst on the drift. Floating around in Kayak 200 m off bay between cliffs and ledge = very good at certain times of year Smile.

Who says the are down? They are doing what they want to do and doing it how they want to do it.

The back to basics approach is a breath of fresh air IMHO
