Just a gimmick IMO, i was the first to bring kabura sliders into NZ about 8 years ago and they have certainly taken off, these models have a flashing light  and only last for a certain amount of hours. They will work but at the price point, i know where i would rather spend my money

They are certainly expensive but if you believe their video they get more strikes than a conventional kabura.

I'll probably have to buy one to see for myself

They work, but do they catch more fish than non-glowing versions? Don't know, haven't used them enough yet, but I don't think they are miracle-workers.

One experience comes to mind though. Tough day's fishing. ****ty sea conditions. So much so, we stopped lure fishing. My buddy wanted some fish for the freezer, so anchored his boat and did some bait fishing. I dropped a Glowbite down and put the rod in a rod holder. Next thing, the rod is going off and I landed a 12lb snapper, biggest fish of the day. What does it mean? Probably nothing, but at least they don't scare the fish away LOL
