Hi guys.

Long time reader first time poster.

I’m wondering what brands/shops in central auckland are good.

We were out the other day and out stuff was so soft it was falling off way easier than it normally does.

Looking for Pilly’s, squid, and some mullet and of course some good burley bombs.

In the past we just get what the shape we are at has and have not paid attention to brands but after our trip out the other day we feel we can do better.

Top Catch in Westhaven are a good source. Buy the 1st grade pillies and that is all I would use at this time of year.

Over the yrs have settled to a mullet/ KY/ Trev mix...
 Thu make our own out of the old frames from those species we catch and cut for baits... saves a good $700 per yr
