Hi

Wondering what others run drag settings at for kings? I have an accurate 500n pit bull on an off shore elite 24-37kg rod. Braid is PE 8.

Currently have the drag running off the rod tip at 7-8kgs at strike, thinking about cranking it up for White Island kings this summer and wondering what others run there overhead jig sets at?

I just tied off to the trailer and jumped in the boat and set full drag to just above where i can barely hold on and have always fished with that, you want plenty in reserve so you don't have to use your thumb.

I wouldn't get caught up with numbers as long as all your gears in good condition and you have practiced your knots on PE8
