Life maybe taking us to Tauranga. Having been in Northland for 5 years, it’s not something I’m thrilled about from a fishing and diving point of view, but happy to be proved wrong.

What’s the fishing like down there? I’d love hear from someone that could compare with Northland.

At least the hunting will be better!

Cheers.

In the same boat as you mate! Having the house in Hamilton, once the fence is sorted to keep the toys on the property will be exploring near and far. Be interesting to see the responses you get on this. will be keeping a close eye on it.

Fish to be caught but its not northland. If you put in the work you will get rewards.

It's also not far to tow your ski up to Coro or head east to Whakatane or beyond.

Both previous posts sum it up really.
It’s Not northland but good fishing to be had pretty close by.
JetSki can get out to mayor and probably white with other islands closer and ramps dotted down the coast for easier launching.
About 2 hours travel to Coro and east coast areas to open up good fishing as well.
Out east is my favourite spot for couple days when commitments allow

...also, there's the Rotorua lakes to consider.
A jetski would be perfect for a bit of trout jigging.

But don't hurry MB~~~we're pretty crowded nowLOL
