Just spent sometime on the northern west and east zone down to arid island doing a recky for future missions.
Had my, "no catch fish please" other half on board so just a couple of hours running gear.
Observations were temps from 19 to 22. Birds in numbers close in on current lines. Lots of gannets heading wide. Skippies at the top end and quite large versions. Water colour was blue getting bluer at 120 m.
Not to much info there but really a trip acting as a chauffeur.
------------- Still cruising in my now sweetas pimped out Southern 755 HT0!

Out back of Barrier on Friday..found 1 skippy, and 1 small baitball over several hours, well out past 155. Scary quiet. Managed to hook 2 marlin. First boatside leader, nice fish. Second broke mainline at join to windon leader - very long first run.
