anyone ever tried puting metal lures on kontiki for emaple lucanus jigs
(obivesuly only for 1 or 2 hooks becuase of price)\

Because the main line is static when it's set, I think the lure would not be effective. I know softies have been tried and they were a failure for this reason.

However if the line was constantly moving in strong current and imparted some movement to the lure, theoretically it may work.

Try it and get back to us...

I have no experience with this however a large buoyant salt water fly would be interesting to try ……….. ???
