Hi I am in the market for a new reel for a pe3 spin jig set up.

So far I have narrowed it down to a Twin Power 6000pg (jdm) or a Catalina 4000. The rod it will be going on is a Jigging Master Enchanter special pe1.5-4.

At this stage I am looking for reccomendations and discussion of these 2 reels or any other reels that would suit.

Hi Jeremy,

I have the jdm twinpower 6000pg
Capable little reel with a smooth drag.

Caught everything from kingfish to yft
and light enough to jig all day.

Thanks for the reply jac.. I am leaning towards the twin power as its not magsealed and I'm able to service it myself. As well as a few more bearings and a bit more drag.

I had a bad experience with a stella which put me off shimanos a bit but I might give them another shot
