I want to try jigging for blue cod. I've always used bait or softbaits in the past but it's time to try something new.

I saw a Matt Watson video on the internet today, he said he'd had success with a lucanus.

Can anyone recommend which colour to go for and what weight? Most of my fishing is in less than 30m of water.

And is there any action that seems to work best?

Cheers

Cod being the veraciouse feeders that they are you will probably find anything that moves will do the trick.i have caught blue cod jigging an old school silver kahawai spinner.
